Where did we start?
bactive.com was created in 1996 as a site providing software components for programmers using Microsoft development technologies. For many years the site was used as a test and distribution site for various software projects, including artificial intelligence and productivity software.
Since bactive.com made its appearance in 1996, we have experimented with other site concepts such as a Credit Card web site called ccfinder.com. ccfinder.com was created in 2005 and specialized in helping people use credit cards as tools, help them find useful cards, and to build healthy credit best practices. About a year after we created the site, we realized that our goals did not compliment the goals of many of the credit card companies that we represented. So, we shut down the site and went back to the drawing board.
Where are we now?
Now it is twelve years later, and we have decided to devote the bactive.com web site to increasing your productivity and making your life easier. We have created a free online program to help you build a strategy to reduce or eliminate your credit cards.
Where are we going?
Because of the current state of the US economy, with many Americans carrying over $8000 in credit card debt, we felt that we should create a series of applications to help people eliminate their debt, manage their finances, and start building wealth. There are a number of useful programs planned and we hope to release those to you over the next year.
As we build the site, we plan to focus our efforts in the following areas:
- Finances and financial planning
- Task and project management
- Productivity tools and services
- Physical fitness and health
- Spritual fitness and health
Our feeling is that these five areas work together to remove much of the frustration and pressure that we feel in life. Of course, we can't totally get rid of the pain, but maybe we can do some small things to help you make your pain much less painful.
