NB: Non TSA (Triathlon SA) Members must pay a compulsory R50 day licence. (included in NON TSA FEES)
This Licence fee goes to TSA, not the event organizer. (TSA Licences will be checked at registration)
The licence is to cover your on-day race insurance and public liability.
Alternatively you can buy a yearly Triathlon Licence from KZNTA. This applies to all competitors.

Refunds
Refunds of 50% of the race entry fee will be given to athletes who apply in writing 11 days or more prior to the event date.
No refunds will be accepted within 10 days of the event. All refunds approved will be paid out 7 days after the event.

Events to compete in (4 events each race date)
. Rookie Triathlon - 200m swim / 5km Cycle (short cycle lap) / 1.25km Run - Min age 8yrs
. Sprint Triathlon - 600m swim / 20km Cycle (2 laps) / 5km Run (2 lap run x 2.5km) - Min age 15yrs
. Sprint Duathlon - 5km Run / 20km Cycle (2 laps) / 2.5km Run (2 lap run x 2.5km) - Min age 15yrs
. OLYMPIC Triathlon - 1.5km swim / 40km Cycle (4 laps) / 10km Run (4 lap run x 2.5km) - Min age 18yrs

Start
. Rookie: 7:15am
. Sprint Events: 7:25am
. Olympic Races: 7:30am (2 lap swim)

Race briefing for all
7am @ Transition Area (Suncoast sundeck)

Teams
All Team members must hand over at Bike position

Bikes
Road and Mountain Bikes allowed - Helmets compulsory

TSA Licence COMPULSARY
If you do not have a annual TSA triathlon licence, All Competitors need to pay R50 per Race over and above the entry fees.
This money goes to Triathlon SA to cover your Public Liability on the day.

FRIDAY Registration
Friday before each event @ TroiSport Triathlon Shop (Durban North) 3:30pm to 5:30pm

SUNDAY Registration
Sunday Morning at the transition area from 5am until 6:30am.

Timing
Elite Timing (Chips Provided for Sprint & Olympic Competitors)

Race Numbers
MUST be worn on clothing or race belt during race.

DRAFTING
All Events are NON - DRAFTING.

Tri-Bars
Only allowed for Sprint & Olympic distance event.

Prize giving
Approx 11:30am

Athletes MUST be present at Prize Giving to collect their prizes or prize money. NO prize money will be given out prior or after Prize giving - This is to ensure coverage for our Sponsors.

Prize Money
R10 000 per event (1st - 3rd over the line)
